I'm getting ready for Tuscaloosa Uncorked this Saturday by talking about a local and BRAND NEW makeup line! Y'all ready for this?

I heard that Beauty Bar in Downtown Northport has a new makeup line, and like any self-respecting cosmetics junkie, I HAD to check it out. Tori Crocker, the stylist and makeup artist behind the brand, is going to be at Tuscaloosa Uncorked Saturday, but I couldn't wait that long.

I needed makeup, and I needed it NOW.

Tori introduced me to the Beauty Bar foundation, and it went on like a DREAM. The products are coconut oil based, so they're good for your skin and won't clog pores. I've tried other powder or mineral foundations before and GOOD LORD, were they messy! This is soooo not the case with the Beauty Bar foundation. It's like a cream-to-powder-- easy to apply, blends like buttah, and won't make your bathroom counter or outfit look like you were involved in an explosion at the talcum factory.

Tori applied the Beauty Bar bronzer; it looked ah-maze-ing. I love that it's a matte bronzer; you can use if for contouring or to give your skin a healthy glow. I also tried the Beauty Bar finishing powder, which also applies and blends easily and finishes your look. My face looked gorgeous--but without seeming overdone. It's just, like, naturally perfect.

I love how gorgeous--but totally natural--I look with Beauty Bar products on! (Meg Summers/TSM)

See what I mean? Tori and Beauty Bar ain't playing around, y'all. This new and local makeup line is the real deal. The foundation, BTW, is available in a wide array of shades, so they really do have something that will work for everyone!

I had an awesome time at Beauty Bar and can't wait for y'all to meet Tori and check out the new product line at Tuscaloosa Uncorked Saturday! Tuscaloosa Uncorked is going down from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Bryant Conference Center, and you don't want to miss this event!

Let's close this edition of the B101.7 Beauty Report with me and Tori serving up some face.
