It may not feel like it outside, but it IS fall. There are a million reasons to adore autumn, including the fact that you can rock those dark lippies again. I'm talking about berry stains, brown glosses, and deep, rich red lipsticks--but I'm also talking about a serious cosmetic conundrum here, y'all: How do you keep your lips healthy and hydrated as the temperatures start to drop? How do you keep your pucker nice and plump and not all cracked, chapped, and sad? Lucky for you--I have the answer!

My BFF Tia (hey, girl, hey) introduced me to Bite Beauty's Agave Lip Mask. I LOVE IT. Bite Beauty is a Canadian brand (see, Canada has vastly superior imports than Beiber--it's not all bad, eh?) that's all about keeping your lips healthy. Their line of lip care products use all natural ingredients; some are even infused with Reservatrol, the powerful antioxidant you'd get from drinking wine.

Lipstick and wine? You KNOW I'm down. Bite even has a Lip Lab in NYC where they will customize a lipstick JUST FOR YOU. Literally. It's like the Willy Wonka of makeup. I need an excuse to go there as soon as possible.

ANYWAY, back to their Agave Lip Mask which is THE JAM. I'm a chapstick junkie, so I am always looking for ways to keep my lips moisturized. The bad thing about my current lip chaps is that they never last; I'm reapplying every hour or so. I'm falling in love with the Agave Lip Mask because I apply it, and that's it. I'm good to go for HOURS. No more of this rummaging through my abyss of a purse to find a rando tube of lip balm. No more waking in the middle of the night to reapply chapstick because I woke up with ultra-mega-dry-desert-death lips.

Bite's Agave Lip Mask is also packed with good-for-you goodies; here's how it's described on Sephora.com: "This innovative, natural formula smooths, nourishes, and moisturizes lips with a bio-active blend of organic agave nectar, jojoba oil, vanilla CO2 extract, and triple the amount of antioxidant trans-resveratrol found in red wine."

What? That's a lot of science in a little tube of lip balm. Don't balk at the price--this tube is going to last you a loooong time. You only have to apply a tiny amount; the formula is super-rich (it has the consistency of Aquaphor), yet it glides on like a dream. You can wear it alone; you can wear it under or over your fave lip color. It's available in a clear forumula (which I purchased) or in 'Champagne,' which has a pale pink hue with a little shimmer.

Want another way to keep your lips lush this season? Check out Bite's Lip Wipes! They remove any lip color you're wearing and prep and nourish your lips so you're ready to apply your lipstick or gloss. Check out the video below.

I got my Bite Lush Lip Wipes for like $12 at the Sephora here in town. They come in the cutest packaging, AND you get a portable mirror which is always a plus for any gal on the go.

I can't say enough about Bite Beauty; it's such a great brand. I love their lipsticks, too; I recently purchased 'Muscat' because I wanted a nice nude lippie... well, I thought I grabbed 'Muscat;' I picked up the package. Oh well; it gives me an excuse to go shopping again!
