As with ever new season of 'Downton Abbey' it could prove a while yet before season 4 makes its way stateside to give fans the posh British drama they so desperately crave. Thankfully, one of America's less refined series is content to speed things up, as 'Family Guy' brings 'Downton Abbey' star Michelle Dockery in for a guest role! Find out what familiar role the famous 'Downton' star will play on 'Family Guy' inside!

'Family Guy' has never exactly been known for its class and sophistication, but that may change once its upcoming season gets a taste of 'Downton Abbey.' Sources report that the posh UK soap's leading lady Michelle Dockery (Lady Mary Crawley) will record a guest spot on the next season of 'Family Guy,' playing -- you guessed it -- an aristocrat in a British period drama.

Dockery's guest spot will unfold as a cutaway in the upcoming twelfth season of 'Family Guy,' while the 11th and current season has played host to such famous voices as Jessica Biel, Sofia Vergara, Ryan Reynolds, Johnny Depp, Elizabeth Banks, and Kellan Lutz.

We're still awaiting official word if 'Family Guy' spinoff series 'The Cleveland Show' has officially been cancelled, but what say you? Does a bit of in-joke star power have you primed for 'Family Guy' season 12? What guests spots have been your favorite in the past?
