Flashback Friday: ‘I’ll Be There For You.’ Maybe?

Ah, remember the tight friends show so fittingly called, 'Friends.' You would think the gang would all be besties in real life too. Apparently not. This Flashback Friday the spotlight is on the theme song from this 90s TV show and the current day drama.

Did you see who got married? Rachel from Friends, aka Jennifer Anniston. Did she finally marry her longtime show romance? Nope, it wasn't Ross. Rather, Justin Theroux. Not only did she not marry Ross, he wasn't even invited! It wasn't just David Schwimmer (who played Ross), but the other guys from the show were left out too. I'm talking about Matthew Perry (Chandler) and Matt Leblanc (Joey). What gives?

The iconic comedy Friends was so big, it's theme song even became a smash. The Rembrandts recorded what was originally a one minute opener for the show, and later expanded into a three minute pop song for the radio in 1995.

The song's music video naturally includes the cast of Friends, playing around with the band and having fun. That's what friends do, right? They just might not get invited to the wedding.
