I probably have the greatest skin out of anyone I know. Sure, that sounds conceited, but it's also true. I am so proud of my flawless complexion. I did win the genetic lottery when it comes to clear skin, but I've put in a lot of hours trying to find the perfect skin care regimen. I finally found the winning combination, and here it is--just in time for the holidays. Pretty much all the products I use come from the drugstore, so my routine is effective AND affordable. Check it out and get your glow on!

The first step of my AM and PM skincare routine is the same: I wash my face with Neutrogena's Ultra Gentle Foaming Cleanser. It's gentle on skin--it won't dry out your face, and it won't irritate it with a bunch of chemicals either. I love this cleanser so much. I couldn't live without it--plus, it has a light and pleasing fragrance.

Before I put on my make-up in the morning, I apply a moisturizer with sunscreen. Some days I skip foundation all together and just rock Olay's CC Cream instead--it has sunscreen; it moisturizes, and its sheer tint hides any redness or dark spots.

My PM skincare rotuine begins with washing my face. I use Neutrogena's Ultra Gentle Foaming Cleanser. I often use Neutrogena's Makeup Removing Towelettes before I wash my face--they help remove stubborn eye shadow or mascara as well as any renaming foundation. Twice a week, I use Ulta's Dual Action Cleansing System to manually exfoliate my skin. It's just as effective as a Clarisonic and like 1/4 of the price. The key is not to overdo it when it comes to exfoliation--more on that in step two.

Garnier's Skin Renew Overnight Peel seriously steps up your radiance game. And it's like $12 at most drug stores.

The second step of my PM regimen is chemical exfoliation. If you're using a harsh cleanser (like St. Ives Apricot Scrub), please stop. You're damaging your skin! I use a chemical exfoliator to remove any dead or dull skin without the damage that comes from hardcore scrubs or cleansers. I prefer glycolic acid as my exfoliator of choice, so I use Garnier's Skin Renew Dark Spot Overnight Peel. Its added Vitamin C really makes my complexion glow.

I use Olay's Regenerist Eye Roller next. It moisturizes and helps reduce and prevent wrinkles in that delicate eye area. I started noticing more and more crow's feet and fine lines in the past year or so, and since I've used the Regenerist Eye Roller, I can really tell a difference: I haven't seen any new lines pop up, and the wrinkles I already have are much less noticeable. I've tried a lot of expensive eye creams, but this one has been the best for me. You can get it at any drugstore, and it's like $15. Awesome.

The final step in my PM skin care routine is moisturizer. I use Cera-Ve (in the tub). It's non-comedogenic (it won't clog your pores), and it works to hydrate skin and lock moisture in. I love feeling my skin after I moisturize--it's so smooth and soft! In the super-cold months, I will splurge a little and use Clinique's Moisture Surge in the evenings. It's a justifiable expense, but if I can't afford it, I simply stick to Cera-Ve.

It's that simple: two products in the morning, four (sometimes five) at night. I love that I've found a winning combination for my skin! What works for me may not work for you, so always talk to your dermatologist or esthetician about any concerns you may have. What products are part of your routine?
