This Flashback Friday so happens to land on Halloween Eve, instead of simply featuring one signature song for the occasion, let's spotlight 5 spooktacular songs!

This list is sure to send a chill down your spine! Well, hopefully for being scary and not for being a bad list.

#5 - Starting the countdown isn't a radio hit, but is probably the most associated song to the holiday. It doesn't get more Halloween, than the super creepy theme song from the movie Halloween!

#4 - The 1962 novelty song "Monster Mash" by Bobby "Borris" Pickett! The video clip I found features an introduction by the great Dick Clark. It is also very amusing to see all the goofy faces Bobby makes while clearly lip syncing the song on TV. This guy really tries to get into character, while wearing a suit.

#3 - Inspired by the '80s horror movie series Nightmare on Elm Street, it's DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince (Will Smith) with 'Nightmare on My Street!' Oddly, there isn't an official music video for this song, but there are a few versions featuring gory clips from the movie.

#2 - Coming in the second spot is another song inspired by a horror movie, well, it's really a comedy with a Halloween feel to it. I'm talking about Ghostbusters and the theme song by Ray Parker Jr.

#1 - The King of Pop owns the top spot on my list of the Top 5 Most Spooktacular Halloween Song!! Michael Jackson's 'Thriller!' The music video is a thriller too with its elaborate short film presentation.

Comment below with your favorite Halloween song, and... Happy Halloween!! May it be all treats and no tricks for you!!
