Valentine's Day has come and gone, and that means one thing: it's Candy Day. Y'all ready  to go full-on Willy Wonka?

Candy Day is (obviously) not a national holiday. It's probably observed only by those with a raging sweet tooth like yours truly. I'm serious about my sweets, okay?

Mine. ALL MINE.
Mine. ALL MINE.

Valentine's Day is all about sweet gestures of kindness, but actually buying candy before/ on Valentine's Day is a rookie mistake. Pro Tip: Wait until the day AFTER Valentine's and just go crazy. It's all on clearance, my friends. Buy yourself some candy; buy the kid's Valentine's cards for next year or stock up on decorations.

I don't play when it comes to my discounted candy. If you've ever been in a store and seen some psycho with a cart half full of candy, I am here to tell you: I am that psycho. I don't know what it is, but I cannot resist a good deal. It's as if my inner Suze Orman goes crazy at the sight of savings, and then I turn into a crazed woman loading her cart like a doomsday prepper in an episode of Supermarket Sweep. I think I am a few steps away from becoming an extreme couponer, but that's another post...

Savor the sweetness of Candy Day! Just don't buy any candy hearts, because they taste like chalk. Unless you like eating chalk. It's all about you. It's YOUR Candy Day.
