Stuart Kaul, the co-creator of the Insane Inflatable 5K called into the show to share what to expect at the upcoming Tuscaloosa race on April 2nd, and the need to beat the price increase!

Think about it, a race with massive inflatable objects along a 3 mile course is wild, a concept you can only love! Stuart tells us the whole idea was born inside "a hotel lobby while having some beers." The ideas increasingly became more wild, as rough drafts were made on cocktail napkins.

The race co-creator says the whole idea of the Insane Inflatable is about having a great time, and not about how fast you run it. Whether you run or walk, that doesn't matter, just get your bounce on and have fun!

If you ran the Insane Inflatable 5K in 2015, we're being told by Stuart, there are all new inflatables for 2016! Plus, this year's course moves to flat terrain at the Tuscaloosa Regional Airport. This location will much be easier to access as well.

Another thing to know about the race, there are a limited number of participants to leave the various "wave" start times through the morning.  This will only enhance the experience by preventing overcrowding.

Truly, this is something you'll want to experience with family or friends!   It's more than just the 5K, stick around listen to the DJ, grab a bite to eat and have cold one after you conquer the course!

Pick your wave time now before it fills up, and beat the price increase which is coming Friday night (2/26) at midnight.
