Another Leftovers leftover is coming back to TV. Justin Theroux is joining the already-stellar combo of Jonah Hill and Emma Stone in new Netflix dark comedy series Maniac, as helmed by True Detective and Beasts of No Nation director Cary Fukunaga.

Filming on the 10-episode Norwegian-adapted series began in New York City on August 15, and TVLine reports that Theroux will serve as series regular in an unidentified role. The Leftovers writer Patrick Somerville adapts the series, while Fukunaga, Stone and Hill will executive produce the Paramount TV project with Anonymous Content’s Michael Sugar and Doug Wald.

Fukunaga will also direct all episodes of the new 10-episode series, remaking the 2014 Norwegian drama of a man living a fantasy life in his dreams, but in reality locked up at an institution. Initial reports had Maniac eyed for a two-season order, but that remains unconfirmed.

We’ll likely hear more as production continues for the next few months, but watch the original Maniac trailer below, and stay tuned for a narrower premiere date.
