Has it really been 20 years since No Doubt had a breakout hit with 'Just A Girl'? It sure has been. It was back in 1995 that Gwen Stefani and company finally reached their dream of having a song on the radio.

Gwen Stefani can give thanks to her brother for being inspired to write the tune. Yeah, it happened after her bro left the band. He was the lead song writer at the time. The lyrics for 'Just A Girl' demonstrate her frustration, not just with her brother, but her dad too. You see, he was bit overprotective and treated her different as a girl. Gwen airs out on the burden it can be as a girl.

Conan O'Brien gets the credit for welcoming the band on TV first, followed by David Letterman.

No Doubt would end up touring with the band Bush. Gwen Stefani and Bush lead man, Gavin Rossdale hit it off. They would date and eventually get married.

These days, Gwen is single again and involved with another music man (reportedly). That would her TV co-host on The Voice. Talk has it that they are getting along so well, that wedding bells may be ringing in the not too distant future.

Let's look back at the music video, which started it all for Gwen Stefani and No Doubt. Watch 'Just A Girl,' below.
