98 Degrees delivered the heat at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater during the MY2K concert, and we've got them in the B101.7 Flashback Friday spotlight!

The guy rose to fame during the height of the boy band craze which introduced us to NSYNC, Backstreet Boys and even tour mates O-Town. Nick and brother Drew Lachey, along with Justin Jeffre and Jeff Timmons make up 98 Degrees. They're all from Ohio, but it was in Los Angeles where the wheels starting turning for their music success.

During their show on the MY2K Tour at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, they performed an energetic mix of big hits from back in the day from various artists, along with their hits. After all these years, these guys haven't lost a step with their choreographed dance routines and flawless blend of vocals.

98 Degrees is most certainly known for their love songs, yet it is one of their upbeat/dance tracks which was the group's highest charting single. That would be, 'Give Me One Night (Una Noche).' Trust me, I thought no way, songs like 'I Do,' and 'The Hardest Thing' have to make up their biggest hits. Nope. Then, there was that song with Mariah Carey and Joe 'Thank God I Found You.' That 2000 collaboration did go #1, but that doesn't count, since it was a collaboration.

The biggest song to date- Wikipedia says it's 'Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche),' which #2 on the Billboard chart in 2000. Hey, the upbeat Latin infused pop track makes for great weekend kickoff song for the spotlight this week. Add to it, the video is tropical, which plays right into how we'd like to be playing on the water this ridiculously hot Tuscaloosa July weekend.
