The brief sneak peek offers a look at the various communities attempting to rebuild in the wake of Negan’s terror, while Danai Gurira’s Michonne talks to Lauren Cohan’s Maggie about setting new rules for how they should treat one another. After a few months of radio silence from Marvel on the Ant-Man and the Wasp front, the last two weeks have seen a flurry of activity. First there was the announcement that Randall Park would be joining the cast as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, then the news that Walton Goggins had signed on for a yet-unknown - but probably evil - part in the movie. All of that was blown away this past weekend with the news that Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne would be joining the cast as contemporaries of Michael Douglas‘ Hank Pym. Man, these Marvel casts just keep getting better and better.
We know a Wonder Woman sequel is happening – how could Warner Bros. not give us another Diana Prince outing after Patty Jenkins‘ film smashed its way to the top of the box office? The film, which has bypasses the final Harry Potter film to become the studio’s third-biggest release of all time, has yet to get an official sequel announcement, but there are rumors that such news is on the way.
Showtime’s Twin Peaks managed to keep reasonably opaque through three years of production, and even its first eight episodes, but can it survive Comic-Con? We’ll find out, as David Lynch’s cryptic mystery takes the main stage for its own 2017 panel; itself already impossible to decipher.
