The Westboro Baptist Church is coming to Tuscaloosa on May 18th to picket at the University of Alabama; the picket is supposed to serve as a reminder to Tuscaloosa and West Alabama that the April 27, 2011 tornado was a direct punishment from God for our Godless ways. Or whatever.

The infamous Westboro Baptist Church is planning to picket at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa on May 18, 2013. According to the WBC, the protest is planned as a reminder of the EF-4 Tornado that devastated Tuscaloosa in 2011; the church believes that the devastation and loss of life that followed were a punishment from God for the University's permissive attitudes towards same-sex marriage
