Thousands showed up this past weekend for the 45th Annual Kentuck Festival of the Arts at Kentuck Park in Northport.

The festival has grown into one of the nation’s best-respected and most-loved arts gatherings and this year Kentuck proudly continued its 45 year history of perpetuating the arts, engaging the community and empowering the artist.

For someone who have never been, the weekend featured over 270 folk, visionary, and contemporary artists and craftspeople, a free hands-on children's art section with a musical petting zoo, interactive live demonstrations by basketmakers, blacksmiths, woodworkers, traditional potters, fiber and fabric artists, quilters, jewelers, and more as well as live music, festival foods and craft beer!

Here's a photo journal of what we saw this weekend.
