The Madness of ‘One Week’ for our B101.7 Flashback Friday Spotlight

In the B101.7 Flashback Friday Spotlight is a quirky 90s song about the madness of what a couple goes through in a week. Everything is great, fighting, who is to blame, making up. Stuff we all can relate to.

This song goes a step further with a rap calling what has to be most pop culture references in history! Just adds to the fun in song clocking in around 2:43. The song is 'One Week!' Can you name the group? Hint: Canadian. Got it? Barenaked Ladies! 'One Week' remains their biggest hits as it topped the chart at #1!

The music video for 'One Week,' gives us even more pop culture references! The most prominent being the cars from a couple of 1970s TV shows. The orange General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard and the Ford Gran Torino from Starsky & Hutch! Also, an angel in the video is Carmit Barchar from Pussycat Dolls fame. Yeah, remember them, don't cha?
