Theatre Tuscaloosa is proud to present the Alabama premiere of the production, 'Hands on a Hardbody.'

It's the story about ten contestants trying to win a truck contest in Texas. You guessed it, they have to keep their hands on the truck to be in to win it. This musical is based on the book by David Wright, lyrics by Amanda Green. Along with music by Trey Anastasio and Amanda Green.

You, me, and just about anyone living in the Tuscaloosa area knows a thing a two about this type of contest, and the marathon it is to win it! It takes a ton of determination and really an outrageous amount of patience to win it! Something like this which takes not just hours, but days to play itself out, lends an opportunity to learn a ton about the people around you. That's exactly what happens in this production. We learn about the lives of the car dealer, the radio announcer and all of the contestants.

This Theatre Tuscaloosa production runs Friday September 26th through Sunday October 5th, inside the Bean-Brown Theatre on the campus of Shelton State Community College. Ticket purchase info and show times are available at theatretusc.com.

Listen to B101.7 for a chance to win a pair of tickets. We promise, we won't make you hold your hand on your phone of a long period of time to win. :)
