Two students from the Tuscaloosa area were recognized last week for their flawless performance on the ACT.

The students, Rebecca Han and Joshua Fording, both scored the HIGHEST score possible, a PERFECT 36 on the standardized test. Han is a senior at Northridge High School while Fording is a senior at the Capitol School.

In a letter to both students, ACT Chief Executive Officer Marten Roorda told the two students, “Your achievement on the ACT is significant and rare. While test scores are just one of multiple criteria that most colleges consider when making admission decisions, your exceptional ACT composite score should prove helpful as you pursue your education and career goals.”

According to the ACT, only 2,760 out of the 2 million high school students to take the test made a perfect score in 2017.

Congratulations to both students on such an INCREDIBLE Academic Achievement!

On A Personal Note: A lot of people don't know this, but in High School, I scored a 36 on my ACT, too!  The only difference is, I had to ADD up the TWO other times I took the ACT in order to achieve that 36......:-)
