What Is This? I Almost Forgot….It’s Rain!

Well, after going over 60 Days without any precipitation, we finally got some! The drops began falling Monday Evening and, (after a break for much of the day yesterday), the rain continued thru Mid-Morning Today. I kept hearing over and over again from The TV Weatherman that "We needed the rain", and after the drought that we've had, I guess they're right. But did we have to get it all at once?

Don't get me wrong, we definitely NEEDED the rain. But in a weird way, I sort of enjoyed not having any precipitation for 2 months. One advantage of this drought, is that I haven't had to cut my grass in weeks! And I like that, because I'm lazy. But now, my yard is flooded, and I get to clean up all the debris when it dries up, so "THANK YOU" Mother Nature!  But there IS a benefit to all the heavy rain we received....My Car now looks like it's been through the wash, and I saved 15 Bucks! I mean, my car is SPARKLING! So for that, I do honestly need to say, "THANK YOU, MOTHER NATURE".

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the rain. We "Needed" it for sure. But now, I "Need" a rowboat for my yard:-)
