The coldest weather of the season hits West Alabama to close out the weekend with a Freeze Warning through Monday morning.

The noticeably colder weather builds into the area on Sunday, where it will be a struggle for the high temperature to get into the upper 40s. As nighttime moves in, the temperature is expected to dip below the freezing mark at 32 degrees.

Here's the official National Weather Service Statement:

... Freeze warning remains in effect from 9 p.m. Sunday (November 22, 2015) to 9 a.m. Monday (November 23, 2015)...

* temperatures... 25 to 30 degrees Sunday night into Monday
morning.

* Impacts... the temperatures Sunday night will kill crops and
other sensitive vegetation. Take precautions this weekend to
protect outdoor plants.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.

The Sunday forecast map below shows Tuscaloosa's high will only be 46.
