Tomorrow morning's forecast calls for freezing rain and sleet, which could make for a messy commute Monday. The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 3 a.m.until 9 a.m. Monday. Freezing rain is expected to have an impact on travel--we could see up to one-tenth of an inch of freezing rain.

Areas northwest of Tuscaloosa and Birmingham are under a Winter Weather Advisory from 10 p.m. tonight until 9 a.m. Monday morning. Fayette, Hamilton, and Jasper could all see up to a tenth of an inch of snow, sleet, and freezing rain.

Icy conditions can make travel difficult. If you do have to drive, remember that bridges and overpasses tend to ice over first, and allow extra time for your commute.

We'll keep you up-to-date with the latest cancellations and forecast details.
