Saturday (May 14)

Druid City Iron Dog

Lake Lurleen State Park
The fun challenge pairing pets and people! There is a 2-mile course to walk or run, followed by optional agility course and swimming (both for dogs). There will be awards and door prizes. Benefits Humane Society of West Alabama and Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter.
Cost: $40 day of event to participate, $4 park entrance if not participating

YMCA/Keller Williams Youth First 8K, 2 Mile and Fun Run

YMCA Downtown Tuscaloosa on Paul Bryant Drive
Pick your distance, or sign up for multiple races, everyone will be supporting the local Youth First campaign! The YMCA provides financial assistance for families in our community so they can afford for their children to play sports, partake in our literacy programs in summer camp, or just start living a healthy lifestyle through membership at the Y. Awards and door prizes follow races.
Cost: $35 for the 8K and $20 for the 2-mile run/walk
6:30 AM - Registration and check-in begins
8:00 AM - 8K start
9:30 AM - 2 mile start
10:00 AM - Fun Run start
